Support the Tahoe Risk Reduction Petition.

Evacuating the Tahoe basin in summer could take 14 hours, and 99% of properties in South Lake Tahoe are at wildfire risk — yet new resorts are still being built in high-danger fire areas.

Why we're asking

Make Tahoe exit corridors safer — without cutting down the vegetation that defines this place.

Join us at the Wildfire Pro Shop and the Safer Chemistry Non-Profit 501(c)(3) and sign the Risk Reduction Support Petition. San Diego Fire-Rescue receives grants every year to spray CitroTech on roadways and in homeless communities — Tahoe has a much higher risk.

We're accepting donations alongside signatures to make Lake Tahoe exit corridors safer.

"The San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation received a $367,000 grant from the San Diego River Conservancy. The initiative includes brush management, weed abatement, and the application of Citrotech® — recognized on the EPA Safer Choice list. We've identified 46 acres of high-risk areas in evacuation corridors with only one route. We want people to be able to get out in a fire emergency."
