A lot of companies will pull up to your property and offer to spray “fire retardant.” Here’s why what we sell isn’t like the rest.
1. The only EPA Safer Choice product in the category. CitroTech is the only proactive fire retardant we know of certified under the EPA Safer Choice Products program. None of the others would pass.
2. Tested where it matters. CitroTech has passed 90 days of trout-toxicity testing, the California Minnow Test for non-toxic / non-hazardous classification, and Bio Assay testing for mammals. It doesn’t hide 10% of its formula behind “trade secret” the way other retardants do.
3. More fire testing than anything else around Tahoe. CitroTech has more documented fire testing than the retardants currently used in this region — and it’s the chemistry that makes wood Class A.
