When a wildfire moves through a community’s neighborhood, there is more than just the flame front that takes a house down. It’s those hot micro embers — riding the wind way out in front that can make their way through to best embers defense vents right into a dry combustible attic space.
Once those hot micro embers land on things like insulation paper and dry untreated wood, those combustible spaces can explode.
With today’s wildfires making havoc in the homeowners insurance space, it’s our opinion that all homes should be built with Class A roof trusses. We also produce Class A floor trusses in honor of all the brave firefighters who lost their lives in collapsing floors during their rescue efforts.
